While Mom went to Kentucky with Mamaw and Papaw over the weekend, Max came to stay with us. He and Evelyn are buddies now. She is constantly feeding him treats (or kibbles from his dish), throwing his toys, and giggling when he sniffs her. He had a little trouble adjusting to having 3 people to keep track of, but he was good for us all weekend. We had visitors both Saturday (Dave and Fran came up for dinner to celebrate Tim's birthday) and Sunday (Gerry and Emily came over with little Olivia for lunch), and Max did very well both times. He was even concerned that Olivia was crying at one point and tried to cheer her up with some sniffing.

This was the closest he came to actually playing.

A little blurry, but I caught Evelyn feeding her cereal to Max one morning.

Enjoying some time outside. (Keeping the cat at bay)

Evelyn peering out from her bike cart.

Keeping Tim company while he works on the budget.
He was even good for me all day today while Tim was at work. He kept Evelyn busy. She kept bringing him toys to show off and insisted that he wear a puzzle piece as a hat :P Mostly he naps. As much as one can nap with a toddler around. He'll be happy to get back to Mom's house tomorrow where he can snooze in peace :P
