3 Months

 

Today Evelyn is 3 months old:)

She is now comfortably in her 3-month sized clothes, but might quickly outgrow them. We might have to change her outfit every time we do her diaper, just so they all get used:P

She had her first diaper leak, so we switched her to size 1 diapers. We have a huge box--hopefully she doesn't outgrow them faster than I can buy the next size up:-x

She eats about 5 ounces 5-6 times per day.

At night, she sleeps in her rock-and-play (which has a nice incline and helps with her reflux) next to our bed. She sleeps for 5-6 hours, wakes once for a bottle, then sleeps another 3-4 hours.

She spends a lot of time awake during the day, naps in the afternoon, then has more awake time in the evening. She loves to sit in her bouncer and kick or wiggle on her play mat on the floor. She is more interactive and smiles socially now. She will also coo when we talk to her and she found her tongue last weekend. Sometimes she looks like a little lizard, flicking her tongue in and out of her mouth:P

She's great in the car, likes riding in her stroller, and is content going out in public. She holds things in her hands if we put them there, and will smile and coo at herself in the mirror. She is tolerating being on her belly more now, so we're trying to give her more tummy time.
