Spring is Almost Here!

We have had some really nice weather lately:) We've been on walks around the yard and around the neighborhood. Sometimes Jack follows us and other times he waits in the yard for us to get back. It got up to 72 degrees here on Thursday, so Evelyn and I walked our section of the neighborhood (up and down the hill, down all the side streets, and back). We waved to neighbors and talked to the mail lady.

Today we went to brunch with Gerry and Emily at the Mt Joy Diner, then went for a 4 mile walk on a trail outside Etown that follows an old railroad. And tomorrow we're going up to Jer & Jill's so the kids can "play" while Jill and I go to a consignment sale:)

Jack surveying his property. There are more birds in the yard now. This seems to freak him out.

Buds on one of our trees.

Pretty little purple flowers that are popping up by the front porch and in the woods.

Tim by the stream on our hike earlier.

Walking on the trail with Gerry, Emily, and Otis:)

Some afternoon playime:)

And we'll leave you with some cute baby smiles:D

Can't get enough of these little toothless grins!
Despite having some sniffles, Evelyn is doing very well. She gets more interactive daily and is getting to the point where we can let her sit in her bouncer and she'll entertain herself with the mirror or by cooing at the toys hanging over her head while we get things done nearby. She's such a good, happy baby:) We can go out to eat or spend time with people with little issue and she's generally pretty good about falling asleep and actually sleeping through the night now:) We'll feed her, rock her to sleep, and put her down and she'll stay asleep for about 7 hours at night. Which, compared to when we first came home and she wouldn't sleep unless she was being held, is heaven.

We're looking forward to more warm weather so we can get out of the house more:) I've had some serious cabin fever and feel so much better when we can actually get out and do things. And she tolerates car rides and shopping trips so well! Although, since we've moved in, we haven't really scrubbed the house, so I think we're due for some serious spring cleaning before we go on any major adventures;)
