Day 3

I slept much better last night, only waking up when they came in to check vitals. My blood pressures have all been in the good range, even the one they took right after I ate and had been sitting up for awhile.
We spoke with the doctor who missed us yesterday, and he said the IV has to stay in as long as we're here. If we're here for an extended stay, it will just get moved every few days or as it needs. I also asked about how we would decide how long I'll be staying. (Are we here until Bean arrives, or is the length of our stay dependent on testing they have scheduled for this week?). He said he'd like to see another set of labs, monitoring, and an ultrasound before he decides whether or not I really need to stay. So it sounds like we could have some kind of verdict on the length of our stay tomorrow.

Matt and Susie came up to visit us this afternoon and brought coloring books, crayons, and colored pencils for me:) Daniel and Emily came back and brought root beer and gummie worms/bears. And Tim's parents came bearing food to keep Tim going and an amaryllis for me to watch bloom. So we had a steady stream of visitors all day today.

Again, baby sounds good, I'm feeling pretty good, and BP numbers have been down all weekend. Hopefully we'll get some good news this week. But we will just have to keep in mind that any one of the numerous tests or appointments they have scheduled for us could land us right back where we are.

Or everything could be totally fine. Lets all keep our fingers crossed and prayers said for "totally fine".
