And home again...

Just wanted to make a quick post and let everyone know that the doctors sent us home. They seemed confident that we're stable and not in immediate danger of developing further symptoms of preeclampsia, so I'm on modified bed rest at home now. (Which means no more IV for the time being, sleeping through the night without being woken every 3 hours for vitals, and being back in my very own bed!)
They ran labs this morning (the phlebotomist came at 6:30am to draw blood--worst wake-up call ever), and everything came back looking good. My lab results have been consistent since they started running them at 28 weeks, so that made them happy. They did a non-stress test during which Bean ran from and kicked at the monitors, which made it hard for them to see what they needed to see, but did the trick. Then we went for a quick ultrasound to check for blood flow and fluid levels--everything looked good. Bean is head-up now, like she knows what's going on and needed to show everyone she's not ready to come out yet:P It feels strange having her head up under my ribs, but she has plenty of time to flip back over.
So we got orders, they took out the IV (huzzah!), and Tim loaded up the car. They actually made me take a ride in a wheelchair because the front door is so far away. That was a little much, I think. I could have used the walk.
We'll be home until Wednesday afternoon when we have to go back to the hospital for another non-stress test, an ultrasound to check Bean's growth, and a routine check of vitals. As long as everything looks good at these types of appointments, we can stay home. If they pick up on anything further, I will be re-admitted to the hospital for bed rest and monitoring until Bean decides to make her arrival. Personally, I'm thankful for any time I can get at home, sleeping in my own bed. Sleeping in hospitals is hard!

We do have labor and delivery classes starting this week, so I guess whether or not we're able to go to them depends on whether or not we end up checked back in at the hospital. I guess we'll wait and see--hopefully I can get a refund or credit or something if they tell us not to go:-x I guess I will have to queue up some discovery channel specials on netflix so Tim can be prepared:P
