Just so no one is worried, I haven't had any cantaloupe in the last couple of months. I'm not a huge fan of cantaloupes anyway. I much prefer watermelons:) Which is good, since we had an endless stream of them this summer. When I was buying seeds for next year's garden at the store last week, I avoided getting any watermelon seeds:P I did get tomato, pumpkin, and a couple other things that we'll eat or use (or give away to the neighbor kids).
It's been a quiet couple of days here. We had all our excitement for this week on Tuesday:P I haven't heard anything about the glucose test, so I'm going to do what they told me to and assume that no news means I passed and don't have to go back for the 3 hour test.
We got a mini vacation booked for 2 weeks from now. We're not going far--just to a little town north of Philly with a bunch of museums that Tim's grandpa has told us a couple of times now that we need to see. I would say the break would be nice, but I don't have a job:P Tim will enjoy the distraction, I think:)
I did some shopping today and got what I needed for Elizabeth's wedding later this month. Jill gave me a few dresses, so I just needed shoes and appropriate underwear. I keep outgrowing things that don't stretch (like bras--sorry male readers!!). The shoes posed a challenge--I can't wear anything with a heel without my toes going numb or my ankles turning into balloons, so I had to find something flat. And it's hard to find something flat that's appropriate for a wedding:-x I guess if I missed the mark, people will let me off the hook since I'll be in the 3rd trimester at that point, right? At least I'm not showing up in flip flops:-x
Baby girl has been making bigger movements recently. She kicked Tim square in the hand this morning, and if I lay on the couch for about 20 minutes after I eat something, I can SEE her bigger movements. Which is really cool, but really weird at the same time. And, after downing 100mg of glucose, she was doing BACKFLIPS. Which made it a little harder to eat dinner:P
We are planning on going to Shippensburg's homecoming on Saturday afternoon. It will be interesting to see all the construction they've been doing on campus (our tuition money at work, apparently), as well as catch up with everyone I haven't seen in awhile. And we're planning on going to the Apple Harvest on Sunday...hopefully the rain will hold out both days.
Tomorrow I'll be on a cleaning spree--If I finish unpacking/setting up any more rooms, I'll post pictures:)
