Less than 200 days to go:)

I meant to make a post about this on Friday when we would have officially had 200 days to go until Bean is here, but it slipped my mind:-x I know it's not an official "milestone", but it still made me happy to realize we 'only' have 28 weeks to go:P
Tomorrow starts the last week of the first trimester:) I'm happy to get the exhaustion and nausea out of the way. It's been making it hard for me to get anything done. And I know Tim will be happy when I can make more reasonable requests for dinner (no more craving Ikea meatballs on a Wednesday or insisting on waffles, but not the ones we have in the fridge--the ones with chocolate in them). I actually got up on Saturday and cleaned the entire kitchen (even did some dishes--gasp!) before Tim got up to make up for all of the lounging I've been doing lately:-x

In house news, the current owners did decide to make the repairs we requested, which is good. There are just a couple of minor things (water pressure and a leaky faucet come to mind) that we'll fix/adjust on our own. We go to closing in exactly one month, then we'll start moving stuff to the new house over the weekends in August. We'll probably have an actual moving day to take care of all the big stuff early in September.

We had a busy day yesterday. We visited with Jer and Jill in the morning, which was nice. Zach gave Tim a lot of attention, which was a little unusual. He brought Tim all his coolest toys and wanted to pull him around by the finger and show him things. Then he had to be picked up and carried around by Tim. It was too cute:P
Jill seems to be doing well. She's going for a c-section on August 2nd, so we'll soon have a new niece or nephew:) Jer showed Tim how he's been lifting the house. Jill told us that he accidentally damaged an electric box, which started sparking...So they had to call the fire department and the electric company.

And in the evening, we went out to dinner with Matt and Susie and finally got to tell them about Bean. Susie is excited to have someone to buy cute baby stuff for now:P We called Jenn in Florida and told her as well:) Tim also sent emails to his Aunt Sharon and Uncle Lee to make sure they got the news as well...Although we were pretty sure his Grandpa probably already told them.

So right now we're just enjoying a little bit of down time. Jer and Jill gave us some boxes, so we'll probably start packing some things up soon. Otherwise, we're just waiting on paperwork from the bank and settlement:) In one month, we'll be homeowners:) And in about 10 weeks, I'll be finishing up with my job here:) Hooray for change:P
