It looks like we had Evelyn's party in the nick of time! It was the only sunny day last week, and then yesterday, we got several inches of snow dumped on us. We've been getting freezing rain all morning, so I stepped outside and got some photos while Evelyn was napping this afternoon. (Click photos for larger views)
The snow and ice are starting to melt now that the temperatures are above freezing, but we're supposed to get another 1-3 inches tomorrow, so our melting will be short-lived :P
While we were getting ready for bed last night, we heard some scraping out front and looked out the window to find that a good samaritan had shoveled our sidewalks and our driveway for us. Or, at least we're hoping it was a good samaritan and not an annoyed neighbor :P So I'm thankful that I don't have to spend Evelyn's nap scraping a layer of crunchy snow off of our paths since Tim had to go to the office this morning.
So we're enjoying our first bit of winter weather this year :)
