Visit to the Horse Vet!

We went to a nearby equine veterinary hospital for a tour with the MOMS club this morning. I didn't think Evelyn would get too much out of it, but I was curious, so I signed us up. The hospital is on a farm just outside of Elizabethtown, and they house horses who are sick or injured, as well as studs and pregnant mares. So we saw some big boys and some little ones. The mamas were feeling shy and stayed away from the fence.

Exploring the barn with T, one of her playgroup friends.

With her glove-balloon.

She did very well, even if she insisted on being carried most of the time. When we got home, we ate some lunch and I put her down for a nap before running errands. Snapped this pic of our matching socks that I picked up in Berkeley Springs last summer. She won't fit in those socks much longer :( They used to go up to her knees!

While I was out, I picked up a couple more sleepers for her to complete her winter pajama collection. I also found these little pink skeleton pajamas on sale. The bones glow in the dark:

She's very interested in the camera now. She will let me take pictures and videos, then she wants to see them right away. She gets a real kick out of watching videos of herself.

This is her singing face. "AAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

She likes the beads on my shirt. They're "pih-tee"
