Pumpkins 2013

We carved our pumpkins today. There are no pictures of the process because we were all covered in goo up to our elbows. But here are the finished products:

Mine-- a minimalist Doctor Who

Evelyn's -- Curious George. Who else?

Don't worry-- the ones by the hay bales are all lit with LED lights.

Jack and George are lit with candles.

I'm really happy with how this turned out.

We had some fun doing this. Evelyn was very interested, and she loves her George pumpkin:) She shouts "George!" when she sees it. And, in the 2 hours between her bedtime and ours, we're roasting the seeds with old bay and oil for a tasty snack! Boy does the kitchen smell good ;)
