We get a little excited about the trick-or-treaters here. I put fake webs on the bushes, then added glowing eyes made out of toilet paper tubes and glow sticks. And we lit the pumpkins and dressed Evelyn up in her costume. And we got rid of 3/4 bags of candy.
I was happy that it was warm enough to be outside. So we waited on the porch for our trick-or-treaters. And we had a steady stream from 6-6:45, then a trickle until it started raining at 7:30.
And after the trick-or-treaters stopped, we brought in the glow sticks and let Evelyn have a glow-stick bath. Which she loved. She would have slept in the tub with her glow sticks if we had let her :P
So, all in all, it was a good Halloween. Next year one of us might take her up the street to collect candy. Hopefully by then she will actually be able to say, "Trick or treat!!"
