Bathroom Re-Done

Tim and I spent our free time this week re-decorating the half bath on the first floor. It was brown. All of it. The walls and trim were the same color. Ugh.
I had originally thought about changing out the cabinets and countertop/sink, but they were custom cut to fit where they do, so we've left them alone for now.
For reference, here's a before picture from when we moved in:
There's just no good way to get a picture of a tiny bathroom.
And here's an after picture:

We painted the walls the silverscreen color that we painted the kitchen and family room before we moved in, painted the trim pure white, added the frame around the mirror, and flipped out the old towel rack and toilet paper holder for new ones that are less in-the-way. I also switched out the bulbs in the light fixture so they don't blind you when you walk in. The last thing we need to do is replace the faucet and drain on the sink, but I think we'll save that for another day. For only working on it for an hour or two every day, it got done pretty quickly. I'm very pleased:)

  1. Looks really good. The mirror turned out great, amazing what a frame will do.
