Baby's First Matching Outfit:P

Usually when I dress Evelyn, I just resort to a onesie with a sleeper over top...preferably one with a zipper. It makes diaper changes easier. And I don't feel as bad when she spits up all over a sleeper:P

Today I put together a little outfit with the hopes of getting a good, frame-able picture:) Success!

Evelyn is doing so well:) She's less fussy, gives us nice stretches of sleep between feedings at night, and is starting to spend time awake in the evenings:) She likes to lay on her playmat and coo or gurgle at us while she kicks her little legs and waves her little arms:P She HATES tummy time, but I try to give her at least a few minutes at a time. She has good head control when she's upright, but still only lifts it long enough to turn from side to side when she's on the floor.
We got a Moby wrap last week so I can carry her around with me if she's fussy and I have chores to get done or if I want to go outside for awhile. She seems to like sleeping there, and she will let me know when she's done by shouting and jabbing her little feet into my belly. Its basically just a long piece of cloth that you wrap around your waist, then cross over your chest. Baby sits where the fabric crosses and the part that goes across your waist holds them in place.

And we made our first extended car trip this past weekend:) We went to Biglerville and visited Mom, then Tim's parents. She seemed to like the car ride, but hates the car seat. She doesn't like being in it unless it's in the car and the car is moving. But once we're going, she's totally fine and will sleep the whole trip. And being in a different environment didn't really seem to phase her. She still napped and ate on schedule. Although she missed her awake-time in the evening, so she had to have it between 12-2am...made for a bit of a long night:-x But we made up for it with naps on Sunday:P

Tim and I started a diet today-trying to compete with Dan and Emily in a 'biggest loser' type challenge. We might be at a little bit of a disadvantage with a two-month-old keeping us from finding time to do any exercising:P But we did just become the new owners of a 2nd-hand home gym...so hopefully that will help:) Wish us luck:-x
