So my blood pressures weren't good enough the last couple of days for the doctors to approve the removal of my IV, so, unfortunately, I'm stuck with it (no pun intended).
We had an ultrasound first thing this morning to check fluid levels and blood flow to the baby. The doctors were pleased with both, so Bean gets to bake a little while longer. The only other test this week is another NST, either tomorrow or Friday. Next week, we might get a tour of the NICU so we can meet the doctors and nurses and learn our way around, just in case Bean ends up there.
The hospital does have a Thanksgiving meal midday tomorrow, so we'll be able to sit around, watch the parade, have Thanksgiving dinner, and keep an eye on the football games. And, I don't know if this is good or bad, but the doctor seemed fairly sure that I would be home by Christmas, since they aren't planning on letting me go past 37 weeks. Hopefully Bean will be healthy enough to spend her first Christmas at home. Fingers crossed.
I've been praying for you guys!! Praying Bean can stay put a little longer & mommy stays healthy! I was in the same situation with Maddy, so if you ever need a sympathetic ear, I'm here!
