Today we are 33 weeks along!!
This week, baby should be hitting 4 lbs and 17 inches in length (about the weight of a pineapple). She's losing that wrinkled alien look as she puts on baby fat, and her skeleton is continuing to harden. However, the bones in her skull aren't hardening or fusing yet, making it easier for her to fit through the birth canal. These bones won't fuse until early adulthood, allowing her brain to grown during infancy and childhood:)
My blood pressures weren't spectacular yesterday, so that was a little upsetting. But they were good overnight and have been decent so far today. The doctor said this morning that if my blood pressure stays in a good range today, they may let me go without the IV until it's actually needed, which is good news:)
I had Tim bring me a blanket I made last year to add to my bed at night. It gets chilly in here at night, and I won't turn the heat on because the air in here is already so dry. My doctor asked me to teach her how to crochet while I'm here. I told her I'd love to, but I need the IV out of my right hand before I can give any lessons;)
