Weekend Fun

This past weekend was a little busy! I went down to Lancaster to visit the Flower & Craft Warehouse to help pick out flowers for Liz's wedding with Mom, Mamaw, Pam, Bob, Liz, Frank, and Grace. I let Tim sit this one out:P After we were done at the craft store (I got a neat basket to hang on our front door), we had lunch and wandered around the Kitchen Kettle Village. I brought home snacks--Kettle Corn and Pumpkin Butter:) It was really really hot, but a good time:)

On Sunday, we made a trip into Philly to see the Mummies of the World exhibit at the Franklin Institute. It was pretty interesting. They had Mummies from several different cultures as well as "natural" (or accidental) mummies. There were also some new exhibits in the rest of the museum, so we checked those out as well. This was most likely our last museum visit without kids in tow:P Although I would like to take Bean to the Please Touch museum when he/she is older:)

Afterwards, we walked through Logan Square where lots of little kids were playing in the fountain to keep cool. And we visited the Free Library shortly. Some of Tim's company's computers are in the kids' section there.

AND I finally got my Swedish meatballs:) We stopped at IKEA on the way home and had dinner, then wandered around the sales floor. We ended up buying some meatballs and gravy on the way out so we can make Swedish meatballs at home. (We're about to move a lot further away from our two IKEAs).

Tim has been working on getting homeowner's insurance figured out this week. And getting the utilities for the house put into our name. I've been working on a registry for Bean (Please don't look for it yet:-x Once we find out if Bean is a boy or girl, we might add some gender specific stuff to it), but it's far from done. Sorting through reviews and recall reports is exhausting. So progress is being made in all areas:)

We have another busy weekend this week, then some relative quiet as we prepare for closing on the 27th. Then we'll be in Elizabethtown every weekend, moving things and maybe making some minor improvements. Anyone who wants to come eat pizza with us while sitting on the kitchen floor is more than welcome:P
