14 Weeks!

Today we are 14 weeks along:)

Bean is now roughly the size of  a lemon and is spending his/her time wiggling toes, sucking on thumbs, and doing flips and kicks. Big news in development this week is that Bean is "breathing" amniotic fluid and continues to develop his/her liver, kidneys, and spleen. Bean is also getting a facial workout, forming tiny features as he/she forms one expression after the other. Bean is stretching out now--his/her body is now growing faster than the head, which now sits on a more distinct neck. By the end of this week, Bean's arms will have grown to a length that is in proportion to his/her body. His/her little feet are about 1/2 inch long.
