The first thing we did when we started re-doing the guest room several weeks ago was to tear out the old wire shelving in the closet. It was only 12 inches deep, had no rods for hanging items, and the shelves varied in length from 1 ft to 6 ft and were randomly placed.
Unfortunately, I didn't take a "before" picture :P
So far we've checked off of our to-do list:
Patching the walls
Sanding
Taping
Priming the walls
Painting the walls
Painting the closet doors
Un-taping
Re-taping
Painting the trim
Un-taping again
Taping off the ceiling
Buying new shelving
Installing new shelving
Painting the bedroom door
Painting the ceiling (Tim is working on the last coat now)
Here's the finished closet (minus the doors):
All the shelves are adjustable, so we can rearrange them as she grows, which will be nice. She'll have plenty of storage space for all of her clothes, blankets/sheets, shoes, and some toys. I'm happy with the closet, especially since we picked out the pieces and put it together ourselves.
It's coming together! Once the paint dries, we can take down the last of the tape, put our tools away, wash the carpet, and get her moved in!

Wow! Great job! That turned out very nice.
