We had been talking about getting Evie a tricycle for a couple of weeks now, and thought this nice Sunday afternoon just called for it. She helped us put it together and likes to sit on it while we push her around (we can steer with that bar on the back). We tried to show her how to pedal, but she hasn't quite gotten the idea of it yet.
Matt and Susie were here this weekend to grade standardized tests in Harrisburg, so they were only around in the evenings. Last night, we grilled pizza with them and Gerry, then made s'mores over the camp fire. Evelyn had a blast with them once she warmed up :P And she was really good about staying away from the fire. Which made us happy, because we have a large pile of downed branches that need used for fun campfires :)
