Birthday Weekend Part Dos

Yesterday, we had Dad and Keri up for a cookout. We made grilled pizza and had oreo cookie pie for lunch, then sat around and chatted while we played with Evelyn. They gave us some hand made picture frames and gift cards for our birthdays, and a set of coffee mugs for our anniversary. Tim's says "Her better half" and mine says "His better half".

Then we headed down to Mamaw's to spend the night. Evelyn entertained us by dancing in circles in the living room.
This morning, we had breakfast with Mamaw and Papaw, then headed over to Pam & Bob's to give Evelyn a try at the big pool. She enjoyed it reasonably well. She was happy as long as she was splashing, but didn't seem to be thrilled with the amount of water surrounding her.

We had a good lunch, but moved indoors for gifts and desserts to get out of the heat.

Dan and Emily brought their new puppy, Casey. Whom I almost stole.

Then we headed back home, had leftover pizza for dinner, made popcorn with our new air popper, and relaxed while watching one of our new Harry Potter movies and eating cookies out of our TARDIS cookie jar. Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful gifts! For those who gave us cash or gift cards, thank you for the retail therapy:) I've had a very good birthday, thank you all!
