We had Evelyn's 18 month well-visit with the pediatrician yesterday morning. She did very well. They put us in a carpeted room, which was nice. I didn't have to keep her up on the table the whole time.
She weighed in at 24lbs, 13oz (which I thought would be more, since she feels so heavy). She measures 31.7 inches tall, which is almost 2 inches taller than she was 6 months ago. She's in the 44th percentile for height, 77th for weight, and her head is still in the 99th percentile. Still hoping big head= big brain ;)
The doctor seems pleased with Evelyn's growth and her development. She didn't seem concerned about Evelyn's language and said that a handful of words and some signs are fine for her age. So, despite all my worrying about how much she's eating and whether or not she's talking, she's doing fine.
