Beautiful Day

We've had a pretty eventful weekend! We made a trip to Home Depot on Friday evening and invested in a new ceiling fan (to replace the one in the living room that hung too low and kept blowing out light bulbs), as well as some lumber for a set of shelves that Tim is building to go under the steps. We got our new fan installed Saturday morning and I am very pleased with it:) It gave us an extra foot of clearance in the middle of the room and it uses CFL bulbs, so hopefully we won't have to replace them for about 13 years:P

Tim got a little work done on his shelves, but didn't quite get them assembled. Evelyn and I were distracting:P I took her outside while he was working and pushed her around in her little car. We had her taking steps through the grass in her shoes. Mostly she just sat there and pulled dead leaves apart.

We even managed to chat with the neighbors for the first time since last fall:P
