Crafty Monday: First Etsy Order!

So I spent Friday evening and part of Saturday completing the first custom order from my Etsy shop that came from someone I didn't know. And when I wasn't doing that, I was out with Tim buying furniture or giving our first floor a much-needed de-cluttering and scrubbing.

And this isn't crafty at all but:

 There is a discount furniture store near us that is going out of business, so we thought we'd go and knock a purchase off of our home improvement list. We put on our adult faces and took a cute baby with us and did the best job haggling that I think we've ever done (outside of negotiating the price of our house). We ended up with this really nice living room set. And now our living room looks a little less like a college common room and more like an actual living room :P

Look! We have a place to put our lamps! And the table top lifts up! It's like having a desk at the couch! And I can hide stuff in there! Needless to say, we're pretty happy with them:)
