Pumpkins Part 1

Yesterday, Tim and I went to a farm in Lancaster that had a pick-your-own pumpkin patch and got ourselves 3 pumpkins and some jack-b-littles. We noted that the pumpkins were obviously all cut from the stems already, and theorized that they "restock" the patch at night:P

But we did carve two of them Sunday night to put out for the trick or treaters next week:)


The one with the big mouth was supposed to be a cat in front of a full moon, but the cat's silhouette broke off--so I improvised :P

And we even picked through the guts and sorted out the seeds for roasting:


Just rinsed them, tossed them with a melted butter and seasoning salt mix, then baked them in the oven for about half an hour.

We have our first class tomorrow night at the hospital. Infant Care--I'm hoping they give us a doll to play with. I'll try to nab some pictures of Tim changing doll diapers;)
