Weekend Update:)

We are coming off of a busy weekend and headed into a busy week!
We went down and visited with Mamaw and Papaw on Friday and made Mom's birthday cake while we were there. We spent the night with Pam and Bob and the kids, then went back and had cake with Mom at Mamaw & Papaw's house. We made a trip to the Sears at Marley Station and got a few cute little outfits for Bean (they were having an "all things baby" sale in which not all the baby things were on sale:-x). And finally, we ended up back at Pam and Bob's for dinner and to help Elizabeth finish off her wedding flowers.

Mom, Mamaw, and I laid out these squares of felt I had into a fall quilt...that I'll be lucky to have sewn together by next fall:P
On the way home, I showed Tim where we used to live in Reisterstown. I didn't recognize a whole lot, but then I haven't been there since we moved away when I was 12. We visited with his parents and his brother for a bit, then headed over to Mom's for the night, where Max went nuts when we came in the door :P

On Sunday, we got to go to COOP for the first time since July (or August?), had lunch at Montezuma's with Dave and Fran, and inherited a futon from Uncle Jeff and Aunt Sharon before heading back to Mom's for her birthday dinner. We got 3 dozen crabs from the Butcher Block in Biglerville and, between the five of us (Mom, Daniel, Emily, Tim and I) we polished off at least 2 dozen.
And, finally, I sifted through the garage and my old bedroom (with some help) and sorted out what I wanted to keep and what was OK to toss out/give away. Unfortunately, the futon took up too much room in the truck, so we'll have to make another trip one weekend:P

When we got home, the crib had been delivered, so we left all our stuff in the truck and Tim hauled it up the stairs to Bean's room. We spent the next hour or so unpacking and putting it together:)

Tim did all the physical labor--but I did all the bossing:)

Ta da! Now we just need a mattress and some sheets:P
I had my first appointment at the new doctor's office this morning. They took my height and weight, then reviewed all my records with me and went over all their intake information. I have an entire book to read now. Plus a folder full of fliers and hand-outs on classes and pediatricians and enough stuff to make my head spin. I meet with a midwife next week (the first in my rotation through all the doctors/midwives at the practice) for an actual exam and will do my glucose test (to check for gestational diabetes) then. I'm pretty pleased with them so far. The next thing on my to-do list will be to call Delaware County and find out why I haven't gotten my COBRA paperwork yet:-x The last thing we'd need is to have a gap in our insurance.

Tomorrow, Tim is in the office all day for work, so I'll be here trying to get the first floor finished off. Wednesday, Grandpa Rohrer and Jeff and Sharon are coming to take us out for dinner, so we want the first floor at least to look presentable :P On Saturday, we're going up to visit Jer and Jill so that Jill and I can go to some consignment sales while Zach gets to play with his favorite uncle:P

I'm feeling pretty busy for someone without a job:-x
