20 Weeks!!

Today we are 20 weeks along and officially at the half-way point (give or take).
(I would say it's all down hill from here, but I know better:P)
Bean is now about 6.5 inches from crown to rump and 10 inches long from crown to heel. S/he is roughly the size of a cantaloupe. Bean has been practicing lots of swallowing, which is good practice for his/her digestive system...which means s/he is already making meconium (yuk). Genitals are now fully-formed and an ultrasound tech should be able to tell definitively whether Bean is a boy or a girl:) I have been feeling lots of kicks and tumbles, and they're getting stronger! I thought I could feel a couple from outside last night, but when Tim tried, Bean had stopped doing his/her gymnastics:P

So the countdown stands:
2 days until the Anatomy Scan
9 days til my birthday/last day of work
10 days til moving day
~20 weeks until we get to meet Bean:)

Just a note--I was in the middle of this post when we felt the tremors from a magnitude 5.8 earthquake that hit Virginia. Our building got evacuated because it's old and poorly managed. Apparently everyone from NC to NY felt it!
