We're just coming off of another eventful weekend, and it doesn't look like things will calm down too much in the near future. On Saturday, we went to Jer & Jill's for the day. Tim helped Jeremy split and clear some of the wood from the trees they had taken down in the back yard while Jill and I watched Zach. We got lunch from the Pita Pit, then played video games for awhile. And once we were back home, we straightened up the apartment and got everything ready for Sunday. We took a day-trip to Wildwood with Matt, Susie, and Matt's brother Andrew. We spent a couple of hours on the beach, got dinner, then walked on the boardwalk before heading home. A short lane closure for a bridge repair added about 40 minutes to our trip, and we got home close to 11. But, we can't complain because Matt, Susie, and Andrew still had to drive back to Pennsburg (another hour) after they dropped us off.
Yesterday, we drove down to Mount Joy and got our homeowner's insurance straightened out, had some lunch, then went mattress shopping so we'll have a bigger bed for our new master bedroom (Our current bed will become the guest bed). We drove by the house to make sure the grass was mowed (and that we wouldn't need to purchase a machete to mow the first time) and everything looked OK. We didn't stop since there were people there, presumably moving out the items that had been left behind for showing. Only 8 more days til closing!! I think we've taken care of all we need to do for now. All that's left is packing:)
